Gather your supplies. I chose to use this gold material. It isn't the easiest material to use, but I had already planned to use it for the rest of the ipad case that I made.
Cut four even squares of fabric. I didn't measure them because I'm lazy, but I did make them all the same size once I cut one out free hand.
It is kind of hard to see, but I folded down and hot glued the longer side first and then hot glued down the shorter sides so there was a make shift hem on the corner.
First place it so the it lays evenly on both sides of your corner, then glue down the front with hot glue, and then the back. Should look like this.
Hard to see again, sorry, but I cut (on the back side of the case) in until there was just a little edge on both the height and the width of the back side so that it could be folded and glued
Then I folded down the front side twice so that the fringe did not hang out open on the back and hot glued it down. Should look like this.
I started gluing this ribbon on the crease on the back and hot glued it around the corner as such. Should look like this so far. (I did not cut the ribbon until entire ribbon was done; 2 steps away)
The front has been glued down now and now I glued around the outside as such. You will see how it looks in the next picture.
Completed corner! I finished the rest of the corners the same way.
This is how it looks done! Well the case isn't quite done yet, but I will have to make another case in order to upload a how to on the making of the case, as this was just an experimental one.
