How to make colored sugar

Put sugar in Baggie.

Add a couple drops of the desired color.

Seal the bag and mix with your hands from the outside of the bag.

Mix until the color is the same throughout the bag.

Add your next color to another Baggie of sugar.

Mix. When mixed, if not dark enough, add more drops of color.

I like this green.

I need a purple. Red and blue make lavender. Add one drop at a time to experiment.

Too light, so I add more red and blue.

That is pretty good.

This is a money saver compared to buying colored sugar.

I like to open and allow to air dry before using. The color made it a little moist. I can use it at this stage, but prefer it drier.
