Put grounds then water into press pot.
Wait 5 min to off-gas then stir to immerse all the grounds.
Cover and set aside on the counter and let it sit12-24 hrs. I make it after dinner at 7pm so it's ready the next morning at 7am.
Pour. I do it slowly to keep the finer grinds from transferring. You could also pour through a second filter.
Store. In the fridge up to 5 days and it still won't taste bitter or stale.
The brew is espresso strength. Enjoy cold over ice with milk or hot by adding boiling water or steamed milk.
- 1.0c Fresh ground quality coffee
- 1/2c Pure cold water
- 1.0 French Press
- 1.0 Wooden spoon ( or chopsticks)
- 12.0 Hrs of time
- 1.0 Glass jar with lid
