Add two whole eggs to bowl and mix for a minute.(many recipes use eggs white only,but we are going to use whole eggs)
Add vanilla extract to eggs and mix.
Add sugar to the bowl and mix for another minute.
Add salt and mix .
Add your shredded coconut to the bowl and mix until all coconuts are moist with mixture.
Your mixture should look like this.
Take a table spoon of your mixture and make it into a ball.
Place it on parchment paper on the tray. Preheat the oven to 350 degree.
Place the tray in the oven and let them bake for 15-17 min or until its golden brown.
This is what they look like after baked. It should look crispy.
After melting my chocolate, i dip the bottom of my macaroons in chocolate.
I put it back on tray upside down and repeat the steps for all of them
Then place the tray in the fridge for 5-10 min or until the chocolate is hard again.
Then you can decorate them with some more chocolate.
Volla!!! Enjoy!!
- 2.0 Whole eggs
- 3/4c Sweetened shredded coconut
- 1/8tsp Salt
- 1.0tsp Vanilla extract
- Chocolate
- 1/2c Sugar
