INGREDIENTS
Remove coconut from shell and put in a blender
Add green chillies
Add roasted channa dal
Add salt
Grind them to a paste adding little water as you go on . Adding little water when ever open to mix the jar will make the chutney creamer.
Remove from blender with its of this consistency
For tempering . Heat oil in a small pan .
Add mustard seeds
Add black gram dal
Add dried red chillies
Add the hing
Finally curry leaves into itand mix.
Add this to the ground coconut mix and its done. Can be served with many dishes like dosas, idlies and many south indian dishes.
- 0.0 Coconut
- 2.0 Green chillies
- 1.0Tbsp Roasted channa (chickpeas)
- Salt as per taste
- 1.0tsp Oil
- 1.0tsp Mustard seeds
- 1.0tsp Cumin seeds
- Pinch of hing
- 8.0 Curry leaves
- 1.0tsp Black gram dal
- 2.0 Dried red chilli
