I would use any berries you had on hand. I happened to have strawberries and blackberries so that's what I went with. Apples would be good too!

And mix! Set this aside. You'll see later that the berries will create a little bit of a syrup from its fresh juice and sugar being combined.

In another bowl add Flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and cinnamon. I mentioned 1 tsp of cinnamon but since I LOVE cinnamon I put a lot more. After mixing the dry ingredient, add a softened stick of butter.

With your hands, mix until everything's incorporated. (I didn't add an egg when I made this but I think a beaten egg can be added here to help further bind the crumble together.)

In a pan of your choice, pack in tightly, part of your crumble mix and use your fingers to push everything down.

Then add your berries on top!

Then with the remainder of the crumble mix, pour the rest on top for a crust. At this point you can go ahead and bake it as is or you can add a few small cubes of butter, so it'll get a nice crisp!

Bake in a 350 degrees oven for 30 - 40 minutes or until the top becomes golden brown!

Voila! The finish product. How I like to eat this is by heating up a scoop of the cobbler and then adding some Greek yogurt for breakfast in the morning! It's like homemade granola for my yogurt :))
