Once your mixture is ready, put it in the fridge for 30 minutes \u23f0

After your 30 minute break, get your board and rolling pin ready. \ud83d\udca1 sprinkle a tiny bit of flour on top of your board and pin to keep your dough from sticking

Roll out you dough and start to cut out your cookie shapes \ud83c\udf84 \ud83d\udca1 I  do bits at a time so i get an even roll

Place your cut outs evenly onto a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper

Place your shortbread in the middle of the oven for 13 minutes \ud83d\udca1if you overcook shortbread it can become dry and crunchy so keep checking on it \ud83d\ude09

Once they are cooked to how you want them, place them on a cooling rack so that they are cool enough for you to decorate once you have made your icing

Prepare any type of icing/decorations to suit you. I have gone for icing sugar with a few drops of warm water, along with some food colouring and a few extra add ons 😝
