How to make christmas cupcakes with marzipan and nougat
Recipe for 16 cupcakes; perfect for a small dessert after christmas lunch or for a afternoon snack!

Ingrediens needed
First you need to make the nougat and cream frosting. You can do this the day before, since the frosting needs to be completely cold, before you can frost your cupcakes
Add cream and nougat to a pan
Heat until the nougat is completely dissolved
Pour it into a cold bowl and put it in the refrigerator until cold
Now you can make the batter for the cupcakes
Add egg and sugar to a bowl
Whisk until light and fluffy
Add butter
Add flour, baking powder and milk
Whisk it together
Add grated marzipan
Fold it into the batter
Line a standard muffin tin with paper liners
Add the batter
Bake for 15 minutes at 200 degrees
After 15 minutes in the oven
Now for frosting the cupcakes
This is the frosting after 10 hours in the refrigerator
Whisk until a fluffy cream
Add the frosting to a pipping bag
Frost the cupcakes
Half of the cupcakes baked and frosted
Finished! Yummy :)

- 100.0g Melted butter
- 2.0 Egg
- 150.0ml Milk
- 200.0g Marzipan
- 2.0tsp Baking powder
- 200.0g Nougat
- 400.0ml Whipping cream
