How to make chocolate scotcheroos
A delicious remix of Rice Krispie treats, just like Grandma makes! (Made by an authentic Grandma!)

INGREDIENTS

Get your supplies together...

...and wrangle up a cute little Grandma!

Have grandma measure out six cups of Rice Krispies.

Add white syrup to sugar in pot and bring to a boil.

...and pre-game the chips.

Butter the pan while waiting for the sugar and syrup to boil.

...and measure out the peanut butter.

Once your get the sugar boiling, pull it off the heat and add the peanut butter and mix well.

Really, really well.

Add the Rice Krispies!

And stir until thoroughly mixed.

Pour mixture into buttered pan...

...and melt your chips.

Flatten and spread the Krispies until uniform (more or less).

Pour melted chips on top and spread as evenly as you can.

Let cool, cut, and enjoy! (Use a big, heavy duty knife. Seriously, I've broken knives trying to cut these before...)
- 6.0c Rice Krispies
- 1.0Tbsp Butter
- 6.0oz Chocolate chips
- 1.0c Peanut butter
- 6.0oz Butterscotch chips
- 1.0c Sugar
- 1.0c White syrup
- 1.0 9x13 Pan
