INGREDIENTS
In a large bowl, cream butter & sugar until light & fluffy. Beat in eggs & vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa, cream of tarter,baking soda & salt. Add gradually, add to cream mixture & mix well.
Divide dough into 8 portions. Cover & refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
On a lightly flowered surface, roll each portion into 6 inch circle
Take the 6 inch rolled dough and cut with acorn shaped cookie cutter
Place about an inch apart on baking sheet covered with parchment
Have children press in mini pretzels for antlers
Have children press in 2 green M&M's for eyes
Have children press in 1 red M&M for nose
They'll enjoy being able to make the Chocolate Reindeer Cookies
After your Reindeer are made put into oven for baking
Bake at 375 for 8 minutes
Let them cool for 1 minute ...and then Eat!
- 1.0c Butter, softend
- 1/2c Sugar
- 3.0 Eggs
- 1.0tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/4c All purpose Flour
- 1/3c Baking cocoa
- 2.0tsp Cream of tartar
- 1.0tsp Baking soda
- 1/2tsp Salt
- 16.0oz Bag of miniture pretzels
- 12.6oz Bag of Holiday M&M's
