INGREDIENTS
Here are all of the ingredients! Preheat oven to 450 F
Grease 6 cupcake tins
Put cocoa powder in the bottom of each tin and tap the pan to even coat the bottoms and sides
Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stir often
All melted! Set aside to cool
Crack the three whole eggs plus three egg yolks into a bowl and whisk to combine
Now pour into stand mixer
Use the whisk attachment
Add powdered sugar
Mix on low to combine and then increase speed until smooth
Now turn the mixer on the lowest setting and slowly pour in the chocolate and butter mixture
Perfect! Now add the flour
Mix on low until combined, don't forget to scrape the sides of the bowl
Use an ice cream scoop to evenly distribute the batter into the cupcake tin
Now into the oven for 7-8 minutes until top is cracked and the sides are set
Once out of the oven let sit in the tin for 5 minutes
Use a knife to loosen the sides and then put a flat plate on top of the tin and flip over
Garnish with powdered sugar and a strawberry
Cut open to reveal the chocolate lava! Enjoy!
- 6.0oz Semisweet chocolate
- 10.0Tbsp Butter
