How to make chocolate fondant

Make Chocolate Fondant

3
STEPS
INGREDIENTS

Empty bag of marshmallows into large Microwavable bowl and add 1 tablespoon of water. Coat a wooden spoon with shortening.

Microwave marshmallows for 30 second intervals until melted. Stir with wooden spoon.

Spread approximately 2 cups of confectioners sugar on clean, smooth surface.

Coat your hands with shortening. Make sure to remove rings and bracelets first. It's about to get messy.

Stir another cup of confectioners sugar into the marshmallows then dump the mix onto your surface.

Knead the powdered sugar and cocoa powder into the marshmallows until you reach the consistency and taste you desire.

You may want to use more or less than 1 cup of cocoa powder.

Form a ball with the dough/fondant, rub the outside of the ball with shortening, cover with Saran Wrap, and place in the refrigerator over night.

You can always skip the previous step if you want to use the fondant right away.

Clean your surface and spread cocoa powder on it to roll out your fondant. Enjoy!
