Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius

Add sifted flour and sugar to a mixing bowl

Measure your chocolate and cut into small pieces

Place your egg in a small bowl and beat with a whisk or fork

Measure out your milk

Add milk, egg and chocolate bits to your mixture.

Melt your butter in a microwave or on a stove top.

Add butter to mixture, mix well

Tip mixture into patty pans and add a bit of chocolate on top if you want.

Place trays in your oven, be sure to wear oven mitts

Get a wire rack out ready

Eat any mixture left in your bowl then wash and dry your dishes

Take muffin trays out of your oven and place them on the wire rack

Eat them hot or put them in plastic bags to freeze, warning: if the muffins are still hot when put in the bags be sure to poke a few small holes in it to prevent sweating.
