First, preheat the oven to 180°C. Mix together your dry ingredients excluding the brown sugar and the chocolate chips in a medium-sized metal bowl.
Now add your brown sugar and chocolate and mix well. Make sure to flatten any lumps of brown sugar with a wooden spoon against the sides of the bowl.
Then melt your butter in a microwave for about 30 seconds. Make sure you don't melt it to early otherwise it may harden again. It is okay if not all the butter is melted.
Now add your eggs and then your butter. Mix very well and continue to flatten any lumps.
Your mixture should look like this.
Line a baking tray with baking paper and roll out equal amounts of the mixture and roll it out in your hands and flatten it slightly with equal spacing between all cookies.
Bake in the oven for about twenty minutes until golden brown
Place on a cooling tray for about 5 minutes to cool. Now you can start enjoying your delicious chocolate chip cookies.
