Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Beat the butter and both sugars together with an electric mixer in a large bowl until smooth.
Add the egg and the vanilla extract
Add the flour mixture a little bit at a time until fully mixed.
Add the mini chocolate chips.
Drop by tablespoonfuls on a baking sheet and freeze for 2 hours.
For the cake: beat eggs
Sift the cake mix into the egg mixture.
Add the oil and water and beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. If the batter is a little bit runny, add a little bit of flour to make it a little thicker.
Pour batter into cupcake tins that are lined with paper liners.
Drop the cookie dough in the middle of each cupcake.Bake at 350 Fahrenheit until a toothpick inserted into the cake portion (not the cookie dough ball) comes clean. About 20 minutes.

For the frosting: sift together the icing sugar and the cocoa. Set aside.
In another bowl, cream the butter until smooth, then gradually beat in sugar mixture alternating with the milk. Blend in the vanilla.

- 2.0c Icing sugar
- 6.0Tbsp Cocoa powder
- 6.0Tbsp Butter
- 5.0Tbsp Milk
- 1.0tsp Vanilla Extract
