Start out with a flowering chive plant. Front plant is regular chives and the back one is garlic chives.
Find some jars to fill with the flowers. It's really this simple!!
Pluck the flowers and stuff the jar full. Pack them in nice and tight, more flowers, more flavour!!
Now we need the vinegar. I use white, I haven't tried any other type yet maybe next time.
Pour the vinegar into the jar or jars. Fill them right to the top. Put lid on and tighten.
You are done, for now. Place jar in cupboard until flowers lose their colour or at least for a couple of weeks. The when ready take flowers out(or not). Great on salads and in salad dressings.
