Get ingredients, tortillas, tomato, chiles, and chicken bouillon
Stack up tortillas
Cut in bite size pieces
I like them a bit small but you can cut as big or small as you would like
All my tortillas cut
I use my deep fryer but you can use a pan with oil until they are golden crispy
Cut your tomato
Add water to blender, tomato, and chiles. If you are not a fan of spicy food just add the California chile and skip the Arbol chile.
Add liquid to pan, let it boil.
Add 2 tablespoons of chicken bouillon. (Or more or less to taste)
Add tortillas chips to pan
Mix with liquid mixture. I like mine a little crispy so I usually take them out as soon as everything is mixed. If you like it a little softer leave on stove a little longer.
Plate, I like mine with cotija cheese and a little sour cream. You can add onion if you like. U can add mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese put in microwave and heat 30 secs to melt the cheese. Enjoy!
