How to make chicken taco sliders
See my other guide on how to make shredded chicken. Once you have done that, these little guys are easy to make. They are small enough to serve as snacks but good enough to eat as a meal!
Everything you need. I found these little tortillas at my local grocery store, but you can use regular-sized tortillas (flour too if you prefer) if you can't find them.
You can use any chicken you have for thisbut to really enjoy the tacos as pictured, you'll need to cook the recipe in my guide for Shredded Chicken. That and you'll need salsa from Trader Joe's.
Place two corn tortillas in a pan over high heat. The goal is to crisp them up a bit. It's a trick I learned from a place called The TJ Oyster Bar - they make the best tacos in San Diego!
Brown the tortilla on both sides then place a little cheese and about 1/4 cup of shredded chicken on top. Let the cheese melt before removing from the pan.
Top with your favorite salsa as well as some freshly-chopped cilantro. Serve immediately. You can always add some avocado or sour cream too! Enjoy...
