INGREDIENTS
Use any kind of Dried or Baked Tofu.
Clean the celery
Boil water in large wok or pot
Get your ingredients Ready
Cut celery about 1" bite sizes
Rinse off Tofu before slicing
Slice as thin as possible
Should look like this
Then slice to smaller pieces
Add Salt to the boiling water
Add a little olive oil
In a separate bowl add some Agave or sugar
Sesame oil any brand will do
Add some soy sauce. I prefer low sodium but did t have any for this Snapguide
When the water starts to Boil
Quickly Blanch the Celery. About 15sec
Place in strainer BUT keep the water in the pan for the Tofu. Best to use a strainer to remove the celery from the wok or pot
Add the Tofu for about 30sec
Drain the Tofu
Place Celery and Tofu into Mixing Bowl
Add the sauce
Give it a good Mix. Taste it and see if you want to add more of anything for taste. Agave, Soy sauce, or Sesame oil
Cover and place in refrigerator for at least 1hr. Best eaten the next day as the flavors soak into the Celery and Tofu. Enjoy and #DoMore
