INGREDIENTS
Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Beat in egg, sour cream, and vanilla - it'll look a little watery and separated
Combine flour, baking soda, baking power and salt - mix well
This is what it looks like
Add cashews and stir in cashews by hand
Drop by rounded spoonfuls 2 inches apart on parchment paper - I use a permanent one that can be washed and reused Bake @ 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned - cool on wire rack
Allow cookies to sit on sheet for 5 minutes to set before transferring to wire rack
Cut butter into cubes
Lightly brown butter in small saucepan - be patient and keep stirring - this may take awhile
Remove from heat
Add half & half and vanilla
Beat in confectioners' sugar - adding in 1/2 cup increments Add all until thick and creamy
Dollop a little frosting on each cookie adding cashew half to top
- 1/2c Butter softened
- 1.0c Packed brown sugar
- 1.0 Egg
- 1/3c Sour cream
- 1/2tsp Vanilla extract
- 2.0c Flour
- 3/4tsp Baking powder
- 3/4tsp Baking soda
- 3/4tsp Salt
- 3/4c Cashews
- Browned butter frosting
- 1/2c Butter, cubed
- 3.0Tbsp Half & half
- 1/4tsp Vanilla extract
- 2.0c Confectioners' sugar
- Additional cashew halves
