Peel and dice 2 apples
Combine apples, cinnamon, flour, sugar and lemon juice.
Roll out both pie crust and use a cookie cutter. Makes 24 circles. You can also use the left over dough, just roll it out with some flour and a rolling pin.
Have egg wash, sea salt and caramel ready. (Egg wash: whisk egg and a bit of water)
Use a spoon to add apple mix and top with a piece of caramel.
Use a fork to press down dough and a knife to cut a slit.
Bush egg wash and sprinkle sea salt (optional). Place in oven at 450f for 12 mins or until golden brown.
Serve with vanilla ice cream and Enjoy!!!
- 2.0c Diced (peeled) Granny Smith apples
- 2.0tsp Lemon juice
- 2.0tsp All-purpose flour
- 0.0c Sugar
- 0.0tsp Cinnamon
- 5.0 Soft caramel candies, chopped
- 1.0 Egg
- 1.0Tbsp Water
- Sea salt flakes (optional)
- 14.0oz Pie crust (pillsbury works fine)
