Ingredients
Preheat oven to 350
Put 1 cup of granulated sugar into your bowl
Add 1 pound of California walnut halves to your bowl
Add 1/4 cup of syrup to your bowl
Add 3 fluid ounces orange juice to your bowl
Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and add 2 teaspoons of cinnamon to your bowl
Mix ingredients until the walnuts are covered in the mixture
Put a cookie sheet down on your pan
Pour mixture on to your pan and evenly spread out the walnuts
Bake for 20 minutes
Pour the remaining 1 cup of sugar over top of the walnuts, then let the walnuts cool down
