Add finely chopped onions to 2 cups of oil in wok on high heat - stir occasionly. Add chopped garlic after sweating onions.

Grind finely 1.5 lbs of shrimp

Add 1 tablespoon of shrimp paste. Add 1 teaspoon of tumeric. Add chili pepper to taste

Sautee in wok on med heat till caramelized.

Lower heat. Add ground shrimp. Stir constantly till dry. Enjoy
