How to make brussels sprouts, kale & orange salad
We needed something green on the Christmas buffet and decided to give this a try. If you don't like broussel sprouts use broccoli instead!

STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Rinse the kale and chop it up. Peel the pomegranate and discard everything but the seeds. Peel 2 of the oranges, preferably using a knife.
Here we have the kale already chopped.
Boil the broussel sprouts for about 5-7 minutes. It is also possible to make this dish with raw broussel sprouts but we decided to cook them a bit.
Rinse the broussel sprouts and let them cool. Cut them in quarters.
Mix the broussel sprouts with the kale and pieces of 2 oranges. The 3rd orange will be the vinaigrette.
Ok the bowl is full and I haven't added all the ingredients....must change bowls...
Like so..broussel sprouts, kale and orange pieces mixed together. Now add the pomegranate seeds.
Like so.
Mix the freshly squeezed orange juice with olive oil, salt & pepper.
Pour over the salad and chill for at least 30 min.
Serve to your regular Christmas dishes or to whatever you like!
