INGREDIENTS
Gather your ingredients. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees.
In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and cool.
In a large bowl, add your oats.
Add your walnuts.
Add pecans to bowl.
Add nutmeg.
Add cinnamon.
Add seat salt.
Add canola oil.
Add vanilla extract.
Pour the syrup over the oat mixture and mix well.
Use your hands or a spatula to ensure it's combined.
Coat a rimmed baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Transfer the mixture to the baking sheet and pat it down to a even layer. Bake for 75 minutes. Remove from the oven and flip the granola.
Return the granola to the oven and bake for about 60 minutes longer or until completely dry and crunchy. Remove from the oven and let cool before breaking into clusters and serving.
