Ingredients I Used
Wash and dry the mushrooms
Take off the stalk of the mushroom and remove the brown inside with a butter knife (be careful not to break the mushroom)
Chop the bell peppers into small squares this will be part of the stuffing (use whatever colour you like)
Grill the peppers to lightly cook them for 10 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius
Next take your 2 slices of bread and put them in a blender to make bread crumbs. They should be finely chopped with no big pieces left inside
Put your breadcrumbs into a medium sized bowl leaving about 3 table spoons aside in another smaller bowl for use later
Add 2 and a half tablespoons of butter OR margarine (whichever you prefer) into the bowl of breadcrumbs. Crush 3 garlic cloves and add to the mixture... Stir well so it all mixes together evenly
Add the peppers you grilled earlier to the breadcrumb mixture along with half a teaspoon of black pepper and stir well till it looks something like this... This will be the stuffing for the mushrooms
Place the mushrooms into a baking tray and add 2 table spoons of the breadcrumb stuffing into each mushroom. Pat with a spoon to flatten the mixture so it does not fall out while in the oven
Now take the breadcrumbs you left aside earlier and sprinkle some onto each mushroom
Finally... Sprinkle some grated cheese onto each mushroom.. Then place in the oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (or until the cheese is golden brown)
And now they are ready to eat!! Be sure to eat them while they are hot so they taste even better!! 😃

- 10.0 Flat Cup mushrooms
- 1/2 Slices of bread
- 3.0Tbsp Butter OR Margerine
- 2.0 Cloves garlic (crushed)
- 1.0c Grated cheese
- 1/2tsp Blackpepper
- 1.0c Chopped peppers
