Gather the ingredients
For the starter, mix 1 Tbs yeast in 1 1/8 c warm water
Add 1 c flour and let it rest for 30 minutes
Add 1 1/4 tsp salt to the 2 c flour
Add 3 Tbs Parmesan cheese
Add 1 Tbs dry basil
Add 2 Tbs sugar
Add 2 Tbs powdered milk and mix
Add 2 Tbs soft butter
Add the starter
Knead for 5 minutes
Form a ball and let it rest for 40 minutes
Punch dough down and roll it into a thick rope
Place rope into a bundt mold and let it rest for an hour
Bake at 450 F (230 C) for 20 minutes
