Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Butter a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.

Cream sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl until it's light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.

In a another bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Mix in the milk and cinnamon. In another bowl, mix together both all-purpose and wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Add the banana mixture to the sugar, butter, and egg mixture. Stir until combined. Add dry ingredients, mixing just until flour is mixed in.

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Set aside to cool on a rack.

Remove bread from pan, place onto rack and let cool completely before slicing.

  • 1.0c Granulated sugar
  • 8.0Tbsp 1 stick butter room temperature butter
  • 2.0 Large eggs
  • 3.0 Ripe bananas
  • 1.0Tbsp Milk
  • 1.0tsp Ground cinnamon
