STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Gather your ingredients.
Unroll your puff pastry sheets and cut them into small rectangles. One sheet of puff pastry will yield 12 rectangles.
Add a small rectangle slice of brie to 1/2 of your rectangles. You should have 24 small rectangles to make 12 baked brie bites.
Add a small spoonful of cherry jam on top of each brie bite.
Combine the egg and splash of milk. Beat the milk and eggs together to create an egg wash.
Brush the egg wash on 1/2 of the puff pastry rectangles.
Lay the egg wash sheets on top of your brie and cherry jam rectangles.
Seal the edges of your bites by crimping with the fork.
Prick the top lightly with a fork to let heat escape.
Brush the tops lightly with egg wash.
And sprinkle with a little sea salt.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place bites on a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes until golden brown. Recipe inspired by: http://joythebaker.com/2011/12/bite-sized-baked-brie/
