Wash & core apples, then place in a baking dish
Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and maple syrup to the cavity. Sprinkle dry oatmeal on and around the apples. Top with water and a pinch of salt. Add orange rind for added flavor! Then top with tin foil .
Once it's finished baking, transfer to a bowl and top with granola, walnuts, or Greek yogurt for a healthy, filling breakfast! (Add vanilla ice cream if you want this as desert!)
Optional: for an added yummy bonus, flavor your plain Greek yogurt with a dash of cinnamon and a splash of maple syrup before adding to your baked apple. It's really simple to eat clean & healthy!
