What to do with all this Baby Cereal?!
Measure out 2 cups of baby cereal. Whatever kind you have I'm sure it doesn't matter.
Get your ingredients together and ready to go! Note: I forgot to set out the eggs, Yes I'm human.
Preheat oven to 375.
Cream the butter and molasses with a mixer then add the vanilla extract.
I'm not going to lie, I'm not a chef not a baker so I'm doing this Dads way! I do however know to use a knife to level and measure the flour.
Pour in the flour and baby cereal into a separate bowl from the creamed butter and molasses.
Add the molasses and butter to the flour and baby cereal. Notice I used a whisk, bad idea. Ok I grab utensils to get this done, not exactly the right way blahhh. Haha
Ok three utensils later I found the wooden spoon worked the best, as my wife was laughing at how much of a nerd I was.
Mix two ounces of baby formula and add three tablespoons to your dough,
Add two egg yolks to the mix also. Babies should not have egg whites yet.
Ok ball up the dough and place it on the cookie sheet. I got a little over a dozen cookies. NOTE: Use a fork and press down on the cookies before you bake them!!! I put them in there as big balls, uhh
Bake for 10 minutes to start, I baked for actually 13 minutes because I wanted them a bit crunchier.
Fresh out the oven after a mid baking cookie smash haha!
They don't look too bad, but they taste rather good. Not too sweet, just enough for the munchkins.
Yes they are made out of baby cereal!!! MMMMM
Mmmmmm what's this DaddyyyyyOOO?!
OMGOSH IT'S SOOOOO GOOOOD!!!
10 month old Vivian's reaction to her first taste of the baby oatmeal cereal cookie! Hahaha thats great! Thanks Annie!
