STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees C. Slice some ciabatta bread and place it in the oven to toast, for about 10 mins.
Quarter your tomatoes.
Deseed your tomatoes by holding the seeded part and running the knife underneath it. Holding it like this prevents you from accidentally cutting yourself.
When you've deseeded them, slice the tomato length-wise into strips. Slightly on an angle works best.
Slicey slice slice...
Then, slice the tomatoes length-wise again, to create little cubes. If you want to add the onion, dice it up now.
Take a break if you feel like it, and watch some awesome TV... 10 points to those who know this show. ;)
Finely chop your basil.
Now throw your tomato, basil, onion, some salt and pepper in a bowl and chuck in a glug of olive oil, Jamie Oliver style.
Mix dat up!
Check on your bread. When it's nice and brown bring it out of the oven.
Slice a clove of garlic in half and rub it on the bread. No, that's not a euphemism for anything. XD
Top the bread with some mix. Add some balsamic vinegar (optional).
Garnish with some sea salt and feta/goat cheese. (Also optional).
OM NOM NOM!!!! Enjoy the shit out of your delicious bruschetta. :3
