Add fresh cilantro and salt to blender. NOTE: Depending on what you are preparing, blend thoroughly or pulse. Enchiladas, posole- blend well. For chile verde or chips and salsa, pulse.

  • 3/4 lb serrano chiles
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 white onion, quartered
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • Salt to taste
