INGREDIENTS
You will need pastry blender, knife, apple corer, mixing spoon, peeler, pastry brush measuring spoons, mixing bowl, baking sheet and measuring cups
To start, set oven to 425 degrees
Then you will need flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, margarine, cinnamon powder, milk, sugar and an apple
Mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl
Cut in margarine until crumbly
Core, peel and dice apples
Then combine milk and apples to the dry mixture
Mix until it forms a dough ball
On a lightly floured surface, knead dough 8-10 times
Pull dough apart to form two circles and place them on a greased baking sheet
Cut the pastry into four wedges
Then brush scones with milk and sprinkle on a mixture of 2mL of ground cinnamon and 30mL of sugar
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown
And this should be the finished product
- 500.0ml Flour
- 50.0ml Sugar
- 10.0ml Baking powder
- 2.0ml Baking soda
- 50.0ml Butter
- 1.0 Apple
- 125.0ml Milk
- 30.0ml Milk
- 30.0ml White sugar
- 2.0ml Ground cinnamon
- 1.0pch Salt
