INGREDIENTS
Cut one Honeycrisp apple and take out the core. Meanwhile you can preheat oven to 375*
Lay flat on table and thinly slice
Place slices in microwave safe bowl and Half a lime or lemon juice. In my case I used 2 key limes.
Add some water ( a few TB spoons)
Sprinkle with a few teaspoons of sugar.
Likewise with cinnamon, nutmeg. ---->
Microwave for 3 minutes
Once done, drain the liquid into a bowl.
Add two teaspoons of the liquid to a dollop of jam--->
Mix and microwave for 1 minute
Set aside
Now take a sheet of thawed puff pastry
Place on a floured surface
And gently roll to fit 6 even strips
Cut those strips
And lightly spoon the apricot mixture
Take your apple slices and place at the edge of the pastry strip
Fold the edge over and smooth out.
From the corner, lightly start rolling
Like so
Place in a lightly greased cupcake tin. Once all 6 roses are rolled place in oven for approximately 40 minutes.
They look a little wonky but it will look better once baked...hopefully
Bam! Beauties! Just sprinkle with a little powdered sugar! Hope you liked and found my lame directions useful! These pastries aren't very sweet so they are great with a coffee or drizzled caramel.

- Appricot jam
- Puffpastry sheet thawed
- 2.0Tbsp Flour (for rolling pin)
- Powederd sugar
