Gather supplies.  I am using homemade apple pie filling that I canned last fall.

Press 2/3 of the cookie dough into the bottom of an 8x8 baking pan.

Mix up your cinnamon sugar (1/4 cup sugar & 3 tsp cinnamon)

Sprinkle 2/3 of cinnamon sugar over the cookie dough.

Spread the apple pie filling over the cookie base.

Take small amounts of remaining dough, flatten slightly and place over the pie filling.  (It will not cover the pie filling completely.)

Bake in a preheated 350 oven, until the cookie dough is baked.  Between 35-45 minutes.

  • Cinnamon sugar (1/4 cup sugar & 3 tsps cinnamon)
