STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Gather all supplies and ingredients
Melt the 1/2 cup butter in the medium sized bowl
Add the cup of quick cooking oats
And the cup of flour...
And the cup of brown sugar...
And the 1/4 tsp of baking soda...
And the 1/4 tsp of baking powder!
Now just keep on mixing
Keep on stirring until it is all thoroughly distributed throughout the mixture, and no more flour (white) is to be seen
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Peel, core, and cut the apples into quarters
Then slice the quarters into the 9x13 pan
Done!
Combine the Tbs of flour, white sugar, and cinnamon into a small bowl *my family doesn't like it as sweet, so I put in a heaping 1/2 cup of white sugar instead of the full cup
Sprinkle the contents onto the apples
I just mixed them around to disperse the sugar
*at this point, you would dribble the water over the apples to make the end result more moist. We like it crispier, so I won't do it; but feel free!
Crumble on the oats evenly
Keep on crumbling...
Almost there...
Yay!
Put in the oven for about 45 minutes. (I did 30 to start because I like checking on it periodically, and then I kept timing it for 5 more minutes until it was to my liking)
Let it cool a little
It's done!
:D
Serve it up with ice cream or whip cream, or whatever you like! Enjoy!!
