Make Animal Stuffies From Fabric Samples

I picked up some funky fabric samples at a garage sale for super cheap. They're not big but definitely usable. This project would be perfect for fabric scraps.

You can also find fabric at thrift stores that would definitely work well. I found this denim type material with a nifty zig zag design at the thrift store.

I drew out my pattern. I'm a hack with sewing so nothing is ever perfect. I cut out the pattern and am ready to go! I then cut out the front & back fabric pieces for my cat.

First work on the face using buttons, felt & fabric accents. You can do all of the stitching by hand. I used my sewing machine for the patterned fabric.

I pinned the front & back then used my sewing machine to sew them together - feel free to hand stitch if you prefer. I stopped at about 75% through to add the Eco Fill then closed up the stuffie.

You can make all sorts of stuffies out of fabric samples & junky buttons like this owl.

The accents really add personality to your stuffie so just have fun with your design. Like giving your owl feet! :-)
