How to make an original knife block

Get some old books you aren't planning on reading. Found mine at a thrift shop

Play around a little with the colors, width and height

Now glue the books together

Optional: Add a screw or two, but make sure to leave plenty of room for the knives

I glued two more books and added a final screw

Now wrap plenty of twine around the books. As tight as possible
