How to make an origami jumping frog

Start with a square piece of paper. Your paper should be origami paper or light weight paper (thin and easy to fold).

Fold the right side over the left side.

Fold the top left hand corner down.

Open up your paper.

Fold the top right hand corner of your paper down.

Open up your paper.

Where the creases make an X, fold the top of your paper back as pictured.

Open up your paper.

Using the creases a guide, fold in the triangles as pictured.

Make sure you press down firmly.

Fold up the bottom half of the rectangle.

Fold up the corners of the triangle on an angle as pictured.

Fold the edges of the rectangle in.

Fold the bottom of the rectangle up.

Fold the corners of the rectangle down to make a triangle as pictured.

Unfold the paper downward as pictured.

Open the triangle as pictured.

Flatten the paper to make a boat shape.

Fold the bottom legs of the frog downward and on an angle.

The bottom of your frog should look like this.

Fold the frog in half by bringing the bottom legs up.

Keep the from folded in half while folding the bottom legs of the frog down, kind of like an accordion.

Voila! Your final frog should look like this.

You can lightly press down on the back of your frog to make it jump!

Feel free to decorate your frog and add eyes.
