STEPS
TOOLS
The paper that I will be using measures 5 1/2 by 11 inches. Yours can be any size you like. Just make sure that your paper has these same proportions. If it helps, this is basically half of a square
First, you need to fold the paper widthwise, to make a crease, then unfold the paper.
Next, you need to fold one corner of your paper down to meet the center crease.
Next, fold the other corner to align with the one that has already been folded.
It should look like this. You will now unfold the paper.
Flip the paper over, and fold one side (the side that you have been working on) in towards the center crease. Make a crease, then unfold.
The next part is a bit hard to explain: First, you need to flip the paper back over. You will be creating a triangular base with the creases that you just made.
Press down on the horizontal crease.
The paper should end up like so.
Repeat steps 3-9 on the other end of the paper.
It should end up looking something like this.
fold a corner up to the center.
It should look like this. Repeat for all corners.
When you have all four corners folded, this is how it should look.
As you can see from this photo, each part that you just folded upward, opens like a little pocket.
Gently press down on the top of this pocket, and flatten it into a small square.
This is how it should look. Repeat these steps on the remaining three pockets.
This is how it will look.
Now working with one small square, fold both sides in toward the center. Repeat on all squares.
If you look below my thumb, you will see that this forms a pocket. You are going to gently press on the top op this pocket to flatten it, like before.
This is how it will look. repeat on all pockets.
It should look like this. We are almost done!
Flip it over (I drew the line previously, to represent the center crease). With your center crease going vertically. grab the top corner, and fold downwards to meet the bottom corner.
It will look like this.
Fold in the side corners, then flip over.
You are now done!!!!!!!!!!!!
