How to make an origami envelope

Get a square piece of paper. Here I am using 12in x 12in scrapbook paper.

This is the colored side of the paper.

Flip the paper over to the white side & orient the paper as it is in the photo.

Fold in half diagonally.

Unfold the paper.

Rotate the paper and orient the paper as it is in the photo.

Fold in half diagonally.

Unfold the paper again.

Take on corner & fold towards the center.

Take the opposite corner & fold towards the center.

Orient the paper like in the photo. Now we are going to fold the bottom flap up.

Make sure to have the fold overlap the previous two folds as demonstrated in the photo.

The fold should look like this.

Glue underneath the flap where I am pointing to in the photo. This will keep your envelope together.

Put glue where my finger is pointing.

Fold in & your envelope should now look like this.

Now it is time to fold the top flap down.
