How to make an origami crown

Take your first piece of paper. (try to ignore the instructions on the back of my paper)

Fold your paper corner to corner to make a triangle.

Unfold.

Fold your paper along the crease you just made like so.

Repeat step four but with your other corner.

Fold the tip of this flap down so the tip meets the bottom edge.

Fold the base up like so. This fold should crease where the top of your small white triangle.

Flod in half and unfold.

Repeat Steps One through Nine.

I would use eight-nine sheets of paper. But use less if you started out with printer paper or lined paper that you turned into squares.

If you are using different colors I would organize them by color like I did.

Putting the pieces is difficult to explain but I will try my best. First slip one of the pieces into the slit in another piece. Try to slide into place.

If you are having difficulty doing this you can also unfold it to put the piece in and then refold but this harder and I recommend only doing it if you understand what i am describing.

If you have succeeded when you turn over the connected pieces this is what is should look like.

Keep connecting your pieces.

Once you have connected all of you pieces connect the two end units like the others to create a circle.

You can size the crown by adding other pieces. To make smaller adjustments slid the units closer together or further apart. Once you have it sized tape the pieces together so that they stay.
