How to make an origami crane that flaps it's wings!
This is a slight variation of a traditional origami piece that everyone should learn to fold! It's simple, too!
Start by folding the paper in half on both diagonals.
Then turn the paper over and fold the paper in half vertically and horizontally.
It should end up like this.
Fold the left and right corners to the center (top layer only!)
Do the same with the other side.
Fold the top point down along the folds from last step.
Turn the paper over.
Do step 7 again.
Unfold until you come back to this.
Do the same with the other side too. This is the model after you have done these folds.
Make sure the top has 3 points.
Fold the right "leg" to the right!
You have made the neck+head of the crane!
Do the same thing on the left side as you did with the right, but don't make another head.
You made the tail of the crane! Almost done!
The crease should end up along the crane's neck.
Fold the "feet" (there's not really any guidelines for these folds)
CONGRATULATIONS! You made a crane! . .
I hope you had fun making this! Show your friends!
