How to make an origami crane

Start with a square piece of origami paper.

Touch two opposing corners together and crease to form a triangle.

Fold the triangle in half having the left point touching the right point.

Repeat to both sides.

Fold the two flaps in to the center line.

Repeat to other side.

Unfold the previous step so you are left with just the crease marks.

Repeat to both sides.

Fold in the two sides to the center line.

Repeat to both sides.

Pull down the triangle in the center of one side and crease.

Repeat the same step to the other side.

To form the head, bend one of the tips of thinner triangles downward at an angle.

Pull apart the larger triangles which are now the wings.

And now your origami crane is complete.

Make more, and decorate anything you want with them.
