How to make an origami bookmark

Start with a piece of paper

Fold in half and unfold

Fold in half the other way

Fold in half diagonally

Fold in half diagonally the other way

Fold back in half again

Fold the rectangle in half

Now squash one side down

Fold one of the sides up leaving a little gap

Do the same on the other side

Fold one layer up to leave a little gap like the last

Do the same but make sure that you line up the points and have one point touching the end

Unfold

Turn over and fold on the line

Now repeat steps 11-14

Now you are finished!
