Start with a square piece of paper.

Fold it in half downwards

Then unfold

Fold it to the left

Unfold

Now do it diagonally

Both ways

Unfold

Rotate so that it's a square

Fold each side into the center. I like to think of it as a giant door. :)

I would take a video of this part but I only have two hands, and no one was willing to help me. Basically you're going to want to fold like so:

Do the same to the bottom.

Flip it over.

Fold the top part down

Now, fold the flap so that it touches the middle.

Like so.

Do the same to the other side.

Fold the edges over.

Flip

Fold in half

Unfold

Pinch the middle

Done!
