Measure your device, making sure you include the height. You also need to double the length of your device because we will fold the fabric in half. This pattern is for an iPhone 4.

I found this remnant to use and I had plenty left over for another small project.

Cut out your fabric.

Using your spool of thread as a template, make a half circle on one end.

It should look like this.

Cut on the line you made, this will make it easier to take the phone out of the sleeve.

I switched the needle in my machine to a heavy duty needle. The vinyl isn't too thick but I didn't want to take any chances of my regular needle breaking.

Fold your vinyl in half and sew along both long edges with a 1/4 inch seam allowance.

Test to see if you like the fit.

I wanted a tighter fit so I sewed another seam about 1/8 inch INSIDE of my original seam. I think it gives it a nicer finish as well. Trim the excess fabric on the long ends and you are done.

Or you can add some embellishments. This is what I used.

I simply cut some shapes out of my leftover fabric and attached buttons. I glued them to the front of the sleeve with Fabri-tac and allowed it to dry.

All done!!
