How to make an eight sided paper snowflake

Fold in half to make a triangle

This is the triangle.

Fold it over to make a smaller triangle.

Fold it into an even smaller triangle, but then open it up again.

This is the fold to make the crease.

Open it up again.

Fold one corner to the middle.

Then the other side into the middle. This is what some called the "fox face" in the design. Make sure to fold IN not out.

You then fold the two sides together...Make sure to have only the one crease on the outside.

You can then cut the top part off to give you more options for design.

Now you can cut your design into the fold and then, when you are done, open it up!
