Fold the 2x5" rectangle in half lengthwise with right sides together. Press. Sew 1/4" seam along open side. Backstitch at each end.

Press under 1/4" the flat edge of the half circle to the wrong side. Use the stitch line as a guide.  The stitching should be along the crease when pressed.

Fold over the same side (the flat side) 1/4" again to create a double turn. There will no longer be raw edges showing along the top of the pocket piece.

Topstitch, close to the bottom fold. This will secure the "flap" and hold the double turned hem in place.

Attach interfacing to the wrong side of the main piece. To construct the holder:  Lay the outside "main piece" face down. Next, lay the rectangular closure on top on the bottom 1/2 of the main piece.

Adjust the location of the rectangle (shift down), and place the pocket 1/2 circle "wrong side up" on top of the closure rectangle. The edge of the rectangle and top of the pocket should be parallel.

Pin all the way around, marking the spot for the opening using double pins. The opening should be on the straightest side possible. The space between the double pins will not be sewn.

Sew 1/4" seam all the way around-except for the space that will remain open when turning right side out.  Backstitch at each end.
